This impressive holiday house has been embedded in the landscape and is designed to offer luxury and easy living with an eco-friendly approach. The impeccable traditional stone masonry covering all visible walls is in total harmony with the surrounding environment, and sustainable heating and cooling methods have been implemented. Most of the house is subterraneous to minimise the visibility of its volume, and the roofs are planted with local plants. Three cantilevered concrete pergolas are the house`s most prominent feature, creating sheltered outdoor areas for dining and rest. Inside the house, exposed concrete ceilings were tastefully executed and combined with wood for a warm, contemporary effect.
